Nanny set a plan & Mom kept coddling her kids. Stella told her if this was how she was as a Nanny 12 years ago she would have fired her. The boy was hitting so Nanny put him in a time out. Mom didn’t like seeing her spawn whining so after he escaped multiple times she let him out a minute early. Next Nanny wanted to get rid of the sippy cup & pacifier. She took them away & they screamed & carried on. Mom wanted to give in. Dad thought the boy would make himself throw up cuz he was so upset. Both parents whined that they hate to see the kids like this. Nanny stayed strong. Dad decided he will stick w/ it while Mom was leaning towards giving the pacifier back to them. Mom resisted & Nanny hugged her & told her she was doing a good job. At 9am, the kids were still crying about their pacifiers. Dad was pissed that Nanny slept through the night while they dealt w/ the crying brats. He felt abandoned. Mom kept whining that she has it so hard & that the Nanny doesn’t know what it is like. Then Mom pulled out the “you don’t have kids” card & that it is harder to hear your own kids cry & Nanny can’t relate. Mom said she won’t put her kids through this again so won’t give in & will follow through. On the 2nd night, the kids looked around the house for the pacifiers. As Mom put the daughter to sleep she took a swing at her Mom. She whined that she wanted to sleep w/ her Mom. Mom said no. She moved on to the boy’s room. He was crying as well. He wanted his pacifier saying he is a baby & needs it. The daughter kept screaming in her room. Finally the kids went to sleep. Dad actually let Mom sleep in that day. She said the last time she got to sleep in was probably before the kids were born. & as usual, the show ends with the kids miraculously changed in a week. The gift left for them was a new car for the grown ups & big electric toy ones for the kids.
12/22: The more I see this show, the more I think it is fake. This family had 7 daughters. Mom is a pushover & has let the kids get completely out of control. Dad is a NY cop who yells at the girls a lot. Mom has had heart palpitations due to all the stress she has created by letting these girls run wild. Their oldest daughter is a total brat who refuses to do as told. Mom doesn’t allow Dad to help around the house & just wants to do everything her way. But then she whines that Dad doesn’t know what she has to deal with. Nanny came & she wanted to teach Dad a lesson by making the Mom leave the house for the weekend to rest & he would see how hard it is to take care of these kids. The kids pitch a fit when their Mom leaves. The Dad yells at the kids when they misbehave which pissed the Nanny off. Sorry but I don’t have a problem with yelling. Yeah don’t do it all the time but when your kids are out of control & refuse to listen I am not going to coddle them. I can never relate to this show & it just aggravates me. My son has never thrown a tantrum in his life & he listens to his parents. I think it is cuz from the beginning we had rules that were to be followed & what we said, we meant. I have rarely had to raise my voice to my son & I have never hit him. Didn’t do time outs either. Not that I am against them. I raised my son w/ consequences for your actions & if I say it is time to leave the park & he were to throw a fit he would be punished. & I could count on one hand the amount of times I had to do that. Maybe my son is just a good child, I don’t know. But I would never let my child behave the way the kids on this show do. Anyway, enough of my life. As usual this show is able to tie it up w/ a bow at the end. The kids miraculously are changed within a week & Dad now knows how hard it is to be Mom. He throws the usual party & Mom is thrilled to see that Dad took the girls out for new dresses. Nanny rewards the family with a new bathroom since they only have one. This is on Wednesdays at 8pm CST on FOX.
