While waiting overnight Mama Weaver again shows how sweet she is by yelling at the team that Yielded her.  She makes no sense in asking was it worth it to waste their Yield as it is the last one so no matter what happened, it wasn’t wasted.  One of the Linz boys tells her he didn’t regret or feel bad about the Yield.  Mama says they will be.  Whatever.  Then the Weavers share the love & trash the Godlewskis by saying they are bottle blonds w/ implants. 

The Bransen & Linzes’ balloons rub while in flight.  It looked scary but I am told it is really not a big deal & happens all the time.  They then have to drive to a railway for the Detour.  In Spike It they have to assemble a 20-foot section of train track.  Doe Steam it they have to get 400-pounds of coal in the engine.  All the teams but the Weavers go for Spike.

The Bransen girls were pretty worthless & Dad Wally did the physical work.  The Linzes didn’t let Megan do anything so she watched.  The Godlewski girls struggled, mostly w/ Christine but eventually got it done but the Weavers got done before them so they were again in last place.

They have to find the Tree of Utah Sculpture & then go to Bear Lake .  Once there they again have to stay the night & the first team will leave at 8:30 & the rest will go 15 minutes apart.  The Bransens got there first followed by the Weavers.  The Weavers then beg people for money.  The Godlewskis got there 3^rd & just like last week, the Linzes go from 1^st to worst due to ANOTHER production error draining their battery.  Now I have had it.   That is bullshit.  It is not their fault & they shouldn’t lose their lead due to something beyond their control.  Why did the prior seasons get time credits & now they’re not?  I guess I have been wrong & the Weavers power of prayer is at work to sabotage the other teams.

Next they have to go to a ranch in Wyoming for the Roadblock where 2 people have to drive 6 cattle.  Beth & Lauren Bransen go first.  Then Rebecca & Rachel Weaver.  They now have to go to Yellowstone Park & watch Old Faithful erupt.

The Godlewskis passed the road for the ranch & had to back up the truck & trailer.  Again they bicker w/ Christine.  Finally a passerby backs the truck up for them.  Sharon & Michelle ride the horses.

The Weavers were leaving as the Linzes were pulling in.  Neither team would Yield the right of way on the dirt road.  Of course Mama Weaver feels she is in the right & says that incoming has to Yield to outgoing.  I am from a Chicago suburb & we don’t have dirt roads here so I don’t know if this is common courtesy or not but in my opinion, they both needed to move over just a little & they could both go.  Just stupid.

Tommy & Alex Linz do the Roadblock & then catch up to the Godlewskis to race to Yellowstone .  The Bransens were there 1^st & found out the geyser was going to blow soon.  It goes every 92 minutes so they were hoping no other team would make it in time.  But the Weavers were able to slither in.  The Bransens were sitting on the ground & the Weavers kept running around thinking they had to do something but then they find out they just have to wait w/ the Bransens.

It blows as the Godlewskis & Linzes pull in so they will have to wait the hour & half for the next one.  The Bransens leave first & the Weavers can’t figure out where to go so they just follow them.  The Bransens yell out their window to the Godlewskis where to find Old Faithful .  The Weavers pretend not to see anyone.

The clue told them to find a ranch & to find Phil.  It did not say it was the Pit Stop.  The Weavers & the Bransens each discuss that it will be a footrace.  Rolly shows the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in saying that he will take out Wally Bransen.  It was a race but the Bransens finished 1^st w/ the Weavers right behind them.  & the stupid surprise twist ending was that there is ANOTHER leg & this was not the Pit Stop.  How dumb.  TAR used to be the best reality show out there but this season may have just “jumped the shark”.

12/6:  They have to go to Turtle Ranch for their next clue.  The Weavers argue about when to stop for gas.  The Godlewski sisters argue & Chris cries.  When the teams get to the ranch they find out they don’t open until 7am.  While staying the night in their trailer the Weavers again bitch & moan about all the other teams.

Detour.  For Pioneer Spirit they have to attach 4 wheels to a wagon pulled by horses & then drive it a ¼ mile.  For Nature Tradition they have to build a teepee.  The Linzes & Bransens chose the wagon & the Weavers & Godlewskis chose the teepee.  Chris measures the example teepee w/ her feet so they could know how far apart the poles were.  The Linzes finish the task 1^st & have to go to Wyoming & find the restaurant named for Buffalo Bill’s daughter & find Buffalo Bill to have their picture taken w/ him.

The Bransens finished 2^nd, Weavers 3^rd & Godlewskis last.  The Linzes asked their driver where the hotel was.  The Bransens did the same.  They again came in 1^st & 2^nd.  Only one team can do it at a time so the Bransens had to sit & watch while the Linzes got in costumes for the photo.

Then they were off to Montana .  They had to go to a golf course & find the 10^th tee for a Roadblock.  2 people had to drive a golf cart & find the 4 colored balls that match the flag they chose.  The Weavers didn’t know what the 10^th tee was.  The Bransens got all their balls 1^st & had to go to the Pit Stop.  The Godlewski sisters that did the Road Block argued & one got out of the cart to walk instead.

The Bransens finished the leg first & won a Buik Lucerne, which was a larger version of the golf cart they had driven.  The Linzes were 2^nd.  The Weavers were on their way to the Pit Stop & got pulled over.  All of them quickly tried to put on their seat belts.  To my dismay, they only got a warning.  My hopes rose again when they were low on gas.  But no, they finished 3^rd.  The Godlewskis were last & were eliminated.

12/13:  They had to go to Montreal & find a train station.  The Bransens found what they thought was an earlier flight & booked it.  Rolly Weaver & one of the Linz boys run to the ticket counter, the Linz guy falls down.  There was some good-natured shoving & laughing.  To me it looked like they were goofing around & Rolly was giving as much as he was taking.  But Mom Weaver had a hissy & told him not to touch him.  The Weavers then bypass the ticket counter & have someone take them to an office to book an earlier flight, different than the Bransen flight.  But the Linzes were on it as well.

The Weavers get to the taxi first after they land.  The Linzes driver said he will drive fast for money.  The Bransens flight was late.

The Weavers find the Detour at the Train Station 1^st.  For Slide It they have to each get score a point in Curling.  For Roll It they have to roll logs through a 100-foot course.  The Weavers chose to Curl.  Their driver takes them to the wrong arena 1^st.  The Linzes chose to Curl as well & their driver took them to the same wrong place.  The Bransens chose the logs. 

The Weavers finished 1^st & had to find the American Pavillion that was used during the World Expo & climb the stairs to the 5^th floor.  The Weavers luck out & their driver likes to pray a lot too & Mama Weaver asked if he was Christian & he was. 

The next clue told them to find La Porte J [Door J].  The Weavers get their 1^st & it is a Road Block.  Someone has to do the flying trapeze.  Of course it was Rolly again.  Remember the good old days when you could only do so many tasks so you couldn’t just rely on your strongest member?

Next they had to go where the Olympics had been held & drive a golf cart around to find the clue.  The Weavers couldn’t find the opening.  When they finally do they then have to walk the 56,000 seat stadium to find one of 3 departure times to a mystery location.

The Linzes & Bransens get there as the Weavers are looking.  Mom Weaver whines that it is unfair.  I don’t know why she thinks that but the woman just seems to feel entitled to the world.  The Weavers run out to pay the driver that had been waiting for them.  The Linzes & Bransens did the same.  The Weavers continue to whine & whine & eventually sit down to watch the other teams look for the clue.  The Linzes find one first, 5:50am, & take it.  The Bransens find one next, 5:45am. 

The Weaver girls give up.  Mom actually goes to sleep.  Rolly is frantic & talks his family into looking again.  He finds 5:55am.  They immediately leave to head for the airport.  The other teams had been sleeping in the stadium.

Mom Weaver thinks since she is at the airport 1^st that she gets to leave 1^st.  She was upset to fins out she had the latest departure.

They fly to Toronto .  They have to go to the CN Tower & go up to the observation deck.  Once there, they have to use binoculars to find the next flag.  Mom Weaver stops for directions & asked the cashier to give her the map for free since it was torn.  The guy was a sucker & let her have it.

The Bransens & Linzes find the flag & get a head start on the Weavers.  The Linzes got to the flag first, then the Bransens.  It was a Detour.  For Ship they have to sail around the harbor to a boat & then someone has to climb 100-feet to get the nautical flag.  For Shoe they have to go to the Shoe Museum & pick a pair of shoes & then find the woman that fits them.  The Linzes & Weavers both chose Ship & the Bransens did the Shoe. 

The Linzes finished 1^st & had to go to Queenston & get on a jet boat to go to the Niagra Whirlpool.  The Bransens found their Cinderella before the Weavers had Rolly climb for the flag.  The Branses girls said they just hope the Weavers don’t win.  I 2^nd that.

The Linzes finish the whirlpool first & now have to be dropped off across the border in New York for the final Road Block.  It is a 71-piece jigsaw of North America .  Wally Bransen & Nick Linz work on it.  The Weavers are nowhere in sight.  It is neck & neck & both teams run to the finish line.  The Bransens hold hands as they go.  THE LINZES FINISH FIRST!!!  The Bransens were a close 2^nd.  Megan Linz said she never wants to run again.  The Linzes praised the Bransens.  Wally tears up as he talks about his girls.  He also praised the Linzes & said as a parent he is poud of them.

The Weavers came way late.  Not even close.  & we got screwed out of watching them try the puzzle.  I am sure that was funny as they had no clue about geography the whole race.

The new season begins in February & goes back to the regular format of teams of 2 racing across the world.  5 continents to be exact & 11 teams.

I saw the families on ‘The Early Show’ & the Linzes said that their parents are getting half the money.  & they are actually 4 of 7 kids so the rest of the money is going to be divided equally between them.  The Bransens & the Linzes got along great & there was even a joke that a Linz was dating a Bransen.  The Weavers were still bitter & nasty.  Thank God I don’t have to see them on my TV anymore.  In Jesus’ name I pray.
