Reality Television - The dates covered in this newsletter are August 28 – September 22. When one door closes, another opens. ‘Big Brother’ ended & as usual, the most devious won. Oh well. I hope Maggie is happy she made herself look like a fool selling her morals for a little bit of money. Congratulations on the win Maggot. The real stars of the show are the Jedi & they may have lost, but are having the most fun. & they formed real friendships that will last unlike the “FriendSheep”. Now that we closed that door, ‘Survivor’ & ‘Apprentice’ begins along w/ many other reality shows. & if you venture out of the reality world, we also have ‘Lost’ & all the Lost copies. What’s a girl to do w/ so much to watch? I know. Many DVRs & VCRs.

America's Next Top Model - 9/21: They started with 36 semi-finalists in LA. Mr & Miss Jay met w/ the girls. When Tyra showed up the girls cheered. The girls met w/ Tyra & the Jays one at a time. Bre doesn’t bathe. Kyle works at Dairy Queen. Kim is a lesbian. Jayla was raised a Jehovah Witness. Nicole is jealous of her sister & got on her knees saying she would do anything for this. Miss J said don’t every say that. Nik had a fauxhawk & Tyra asked her to get rid of it cuz of Naima. Diane is plus sized & an investigator. Susanna had her breast removed cuz of cancer in her family. Cassandra is a Texan beauty pageant girl. Ashley is a ham. She said her whole family has a “pretty gene”. Summary continued here

The Apprentice - 9/22: There are 18 people divided into teams of girls versus guys. They meet Trump at his golf course in New Jersey. A change this year is the winning Project Manager will only be exempt the next week if their team votes for them to be exempt. The first task was to pimp Ballys Fitness by creating a new class. They will be 2 gyms to choose from & there is a helicopter somewhere on the grounds & the first team to find it will get to send 2 of their team on the chopper to scout out the 2 gyms. The guys are mostly on foot & the girls get in carts. The guys are quicker than the carts & Mark got there first. Brian & Josh take the chopper cuz they are New Yorkers. Summary continued here

The Biggest Loser - 9/13: 14 people are divided this time into guys versus girls. Suzanne is a cop. Jeff is a doctor & has 4 daughters. Jen is a mom. Seth has a 1-year-old son. Mark is also a cop & has survived cancer. Suzy’s family are all skinny. Matt was once a wrestler & in great shape. Ryan would love her hubby to see her gorgeous.When they go in the mansion there is a room of all their favorite foods. They have a half hour for a farewell feast. Suzanne was nasty & actually licked the chocolate fountain. Shannon thought she would vomit after eating so much. Summary continued here

Big Brother - 8/30: Howie said it was sad seeing Rachel go. He loves her as a friend. Janelle said it was difficult saying goodbye but she was glad Howie was still there. Beau felt bad sending out one of the last pairs but had to do what he had to do. He knows he & Ivette are a target now. Howie said Rachel is stronger than he is so strategically it was a smart move. He will fight for her now. Ivette said it is sad to see someone go but it isn’t one of her people so she is OK. April can’t believe she won HoH & felt like she had been crowned Miss America. James said this has been the summer of hell & can’t win HoH to save his life & deserves to go home. Janelle said she was close to being the 1st to win HoH twice but the force wasn’t w/ her this week. Maggie said it felt like she had won too & felt the most confident w/ April winning. April said her prayers have been answered. Summary continued here

Laguna Beach - 8/29: Stephen asked Kristin out for Valentine’s Day & she accepted. When he picks her up they are still awkward around each other. She asked him if he has been dating. He said nope. She then asked f he is lying. He said nope. She said that’s good. Stephen asked if she was his Valentine. She just smiled. The next day Stephen shows up at LC’s w/ flowers. He tells her he was in town for just the night & is on his way back now. He didn’t tell her he was with Kristin for Valentine’s Day. This is very frustrating for me to watch. Kristin doesn’t really like Stephen & just likes to win & keep him from LC. LC is obsessed w/ Stephen while he is obsessed w/ Kristin. So stupid & boring to watch. Summary continued here

Real World Austin -8/30: Wes has picked up a new groupie, Wren. He says he always looks for the best looking girl in a bar & has convinced himself that this girl is it. He brings her home & says he will make changes for her. Johanna says this girl is only 18 & not very pretty. She thinks he is so into Wren cuz she won’t put out. Nehemiah refers to Wes as “Captain Save-a-Ho”. Wes says he doesn’t think about getting this girl’s pants off. Wren calls & he tells her that he is having a guys’ night out. This pisses her off & she hangs up on him. He was about to ask her if they can hook up after dinner. So Wes goes out w/ Johanna & they make out all over the place. Johanna told Lacey what they did. Rock Star: INXS - 8/28: Jordis was shocked. She thought she would have been in the Bottom 3. They got to work on the INXS song ‘Us’ & everyone worked together but JD. When everyone was sleeping Marty was still working on it. Suzie had trouble singing w/ INXS & blamed it on morning phlegm. INXS loved her. They didn’t like Jordis but did like Ty. They thought Marty was angry & thought the song didn’t work. JD messed up. They found out the songs would be rock classics. Suzie wanted ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ & that was also MiG’s favorite song. But he gave it to Suzie. Summary continued here

Survivor Guatemala - 9/15: The new season is in beautiful Guatemala. They will have to live like the ancient Mayas. The tribes were already divided by the producers. Yaxha has blue buffs & Nakum has blue. & they get one more thing. Yaxha gets Stephenie & Nakum got Bobby Jon from last season. For their first Reward challenge the teams will have to race an 11-mile hike through the jungle to find the pyramid that serves as camp for the winning team. They will also get flint. They have to quickly decide what provisions they want to carry & then they are off. It turns out that Yaxha has more than one celebrity on their tribe. But this one is keeping his identity secret.
