of the Pit Stops will be Philiminations. But
there will also be surprises this season. Some
will say that means the show is jumping the shark.
Not me. I like when a show
tries something new.
They have to
fly to
There are 2
flights to choose from & one is scheduled to land an hour earlier.
Peter & Sarah get the 1st flight.
So do Dustin & Kandace, David & Mary Tyler & James, Duke
& Lauren and Lyn & Karlyn. The
rest are on the other one. Some of
the teams had trouble finding the place to drop their car at the airport.
The teams
introduce themselves while waiting for their flights.
Bilal wouldn’t shake Kellie’s hand cuz of his religion.
Erwin & Godwin played w/ squirt guns & Security put a stop to it.
Sarah got to use her leg to pre-board.
This did not endure her to the other teams.
Lyn & Kandice complain about her a lot & say if they get the
chance they will Yield her.
The first
flight was delayed & landed at 8:22. They
have to find the Gold House Restaurant. The
other flight came in at 9. Duke
& Lauren got their first & it was a Roadblock.
One of them would have to eat a plate of fish eyes.
Duke does it. The others who
do it are Vipul, Erwin, Terry, Karlyn, Mary, Peter, Rob, James & I wasn’t
sure who did it out of the other teams but will guess Jamie, Bilala &
Kandice. Sorry.
I don’t know who everyone is yet. It
is so much easier to tell when it is a boy/ girl team.
Dustin &
Kandice had trouble finding it. They
went to the wrong place. Edwin &
Godwin ended up going to the same wrong restaurant.
The girls got a guy to take them to the right place.
Next the
teams have to go to the
The next
morning the teams leave at their time on a motorbike & have to find a
pedicab manager for their next clue. Sarah’s
artificial leg is leaking hydrolic fluid. When
they find the next clue it is a Detour. For
Labor they take a pedicab to a place where they have to pave a 45 square foot
sidewalk that looks just like the example w/ bricks.
For Leisure they take the pedicab to a spot where they have to learn this
relaxation technique thing & do it properly before they will get their next
clue. Everyone chooses Labor but Tom
& Terry & Kellie & Jamie.
Tyler &
James were the first team to figure out that you needed to use larger bricks for
the border. Vipul & Arti got
lost going there so fell into last place. Tyler
& James finish first & now have to take a cab to the Pit Stop & have
to scale the great wall to get to the mat.
Lyn &
Karlyn spend a lot of time at the Detour whining about Sarah.
When Peter & Sarah finished they stole someone’s cab, not another
racer, by using her leg as an excuse & saying it is an emergency.
Tyler & James couldn’t find a cab so lost their first place.
Rob & Kimberly argue all the time & she throws the stack of
bricks on the ground & they break. David
had started stacking bricks by his spot & then Erwin came over & tried
to take them but David stopped him. Erwin
said he didn’t know they were his.
Duke &
Lauren get their cab to pass Peter & Sarah’s.
They get to the wall. Sarah
attempts to go up first & really struggles & says over & over she
can’t do it. Peter was perfect.
He was so calm & nice & encouraging.
Tyler & James made it to the top first & got $20,000 for winning
this leg. Duke & Lauren were 2nd
& Peter & Sarah got 3rd.
Tom &
Terry and Kellie & Jamie finish the Leisure & head to the Pit Stop.
Dustin & Kandice got 4th.
Rob & Kimberly follow Erwin & Goodwin to the wall.
Rob & Kimberly end up w/ 5th.
Kellie & Jamie were 6th.
Edwin & Godwin were 7th.
Tom & Terry were 8th.
It was just
Lyn & Mary on the wall. Lyn got
up so she & Karlyn got 9th. Mary
finally gets up there & Phil tells them they are 10th.
They had thought they were last & going to be Philiminated.
So that means Vipul & Arti were last & they were out.
