Edyta took George to the zoo to study the way animals move. They danced to 'Conga'. Edyta had multiple wardrobe malfunctions as her hair band & earring fell off. Bruno said they throw everything into it & never fail to charm. Len said they dance w/ joy. Carrie said he is a fantastic performer & has improved his footwork. All 3 gave an 8 to total 24. Louis is now part of 'Team Rinna' & wore one of her shirts as they went for a run on the beach to train. Lisa feels she has to work harder since she is 42 & Stacy & Drew are in their 20's. They danced to 'Freak Out'. Carrie said she has come miles but it was missing a samba & it felt more like disco. Bruno disagreed. He said Lisa is gorgeous & luscious & all the steps were there. Len agreed w/ Bruno & said that was the samba. Carrie only gave a 7 & the guys gave 9s to total 25.

Maksim had Tia work w/ a broomstick to try to get the sexy moves down. They danced to 'Enough is Enough'. I think that is what it is called. Tia came out wearing this long skirt that I thought would hinder her dancing but it turns out it was a prop & they rip it off during the dance. Len didn't like the performance or the skirt. He said it was like the Bride of Frankenstein. He didn't like the 'Saturday Night Fever' part either. Carrie agreed but said the middle was great. Bruno said the middle was excellent. Carrie & Len gave 7s & Bruno gave an 8 totaling 22.

Anna wanted to get Jerry to loosen his hips. She tried a hoola hoop & a whistle but nothing worked. So she got his daughter to help him. They danced to 'For Once in My Life'. Bruno called him "Mr. Smooth" & thinks Jerry is moving in the right direction. Len didn't expect Jerry to be that good. Carrie said the crowd loves him but he is still self-conscious & she can see him counting as they dance. Carrie gave a 7 & the guys gave 8s to total 23. Drew & Cheryl have been working so hard that they decided to take a night off & spend time w/ his friends & family. They danced to 'Drrty'. She ripped his sleeves off as they danced. After the dance Drew said the 30 did put pressure on them but the scores are out of their control & they just have to dance the best they can. Carrie said it was a great job but he has to watch his shoulders. Bruno said they were on target & are as reliable as Tom Cruise's box office. [I wouldn't say that anymore. TC has gone a little crazy & I think his BO will be affected.] Len said Carrie is correct about the shoulders. He said they are sometimes peculiar. He said they have flair. All 3 gave 9s to total 27.

So here is the leaderboard. Stacy - 30, Drew - 27, Lisa - 25, George - 24, Jerry - 23 & Tia - 22. When they were training for the group salsa, George goofed off as usual & tried to make people laugh. Cheryl accidentally hit Drew in the nose & he got a nosebleed. Anna & Maksim fought over space on the floor & the others just tried to stay out of it. They all danced to 'Rhythm Is Gonna Get You'. Len said they were all great but Drew & Cheryl were his favorites. Carrie agreed but said Lisa & Louis tied for her. Bruno said nobody beats Stacy for "saucy". He likes her legs. Len said her legs were stiff.

2/3: It was no surprise that the judges picked the Perfect 10 Stacy & Tony for the encore. Then Barry Mailow performed 'Copacabana' while Louis & Cheryl danced. I cracked up when the awful Samantha Harris was talking to Drew he joked that if back next week he will wear nothing but a peanut shell & a rubberband to compete w/ Stacy. The complete opposite of Samantha, Tom Bergeron leapt on this & said not many guys would admit that a peanut shell would do the job. When will the producers realize that it is ok to dump a 2nd host like 'American Idol' did? The couples are given their CD of the music for the next show right after Friday's show. Then on Saturday morning they start choreographing. Lisa said when they started she had no input but now Louis gives her choices & it has become their dance as opposed to his. Tom said it was now time to dim the lights & play the scary music so they could announce the 1st 2 couples that are safe - STACY & LISA.

The judges were asked who were they most surprised about last night. Carrie Ann said Tony & Stacy cuz they were fantastic & finally had fun. Len said they were all fantastic but he didn't think Lisa & Louis were that great the 1st weeks & now they are like a caterpillar that turned into a butterfly. Bruno said Jerry is a sports legend surrounded by showbiz people & is keeping up w/ the divas, George included. Then the 2005 Mambo champs danced. The remaining couples feel like a big family & all really like each other & support one another. They don't want anyone to get hurt. Drew & George banter a lot. George jokes about breaking Drew's legs & Drew tells him to go take his Metamucil. Jerry said he is used to competing against friends but on Game Day it's on.

When Samantha was talking to the couples backstage, George & Drew were elbowing each other. Next week the remaining couples will have to do a Group Viennese Waltz. Samantha asked George if he thinks he can keep up w/ that fast dance. He said maybe if Drew shoots at his feet. Drew says anything for George. He would have his kids if he could. Tom doesn't miss a beat & pretends he is adding that to his list. Peanut shell & have his kids. Barry Mailow was back & performed 'Unchained Melody'. Cue the scary music again. DREW & JERRY were safe. It's down to Tia & George. Tia was out. She got a standing ovation & Carrie Ann cried. Tia said she felt she achieved far more than she thought she would cuz she thought she would be off the 1st week. She said Maksim is a softy. She is happy that now she will have more time to spend w/ her baby & husband. She is actually relieved cuz this week was so hard learning 2 dances & there are 4 dancers left that are better than her. She said it was a wonderful experience & she got to dance w/ one of the best dancers in the world. Maksim said he hopes their relationship can continue & he can call & wish her or her baby a Happy Birthday. He said when he 1st met her he thought "Oh my God" but now realizes anything is possible & his problems are nothing compared to…. Tom interrupts & jokingly said "Tia's". As Tia & Maksim had their last dance Barry Mailow sang again.

2/16: Tonight they will each be doing a different dance, one of each of the ones they have done so far. The professionals demonstrated each dance first. Louis & Ashly did the jive. Jonathon & Anna tangoed. Maksim & Edyta did the Rumba. Tony & Cheryl did the Paso Doble. Nick & Andrea did the Quickstep. Jerry had a prior obligation to go to the Super Bowl so Anna went with him. He said he loves his fans. They practiced while there. She gave him a quarter & said that was to put in his butt cheeks to help w/ the stance for the Paso Doble. Jerry said he will think of the judges when he is supposed to look angry. After he & Anna danced on the live show the crowd chanted "Jerry" like they were at a Springer show. Len said Jerry got into character & he liked the amount of basic stuff he did but it was nothing to jump up & down about. Carrie Ann though they were fantastic. Bruno said his attitude was like Moses parting the Red Sea. Carrie Ann gave an 8, Len a 7 & Bruno an 8 = 23. That's the same total they got last week. Drew told Cheryl that the judges always complain about his shoulders but there is nothing he can do about it cuz he doesn't have a neck & his shoulders are just like that. She adjusted his stance to fix it. The Super Bowl is very important to his family so Lea & Nick showed up to get Nick out of there so they can watch together. Cheryl wasn't ready to give him up so they practice some more while Nick taunts them. Nick joked to Lea that their family name is ruined. When Cheryl gave permission for Drew to leave Nick carried him out. They danced the Tango. Bruno said they did everything the dance requires & it was smashing. Len said they commanded that dance & it was their best performance to date. Carrie Ann agreed & said they nailed it. All 3 gave them 10s to give them a perfect 30.

Edyta brought in Alec Mazo, last season's champion, to help George w/ the Rumba. While dancing Edyta whispered something to George about his steps. Alec asked what she said & George joked that she said to call her later. That cracked me up. Carrie Ann said George is a fantastic entertainer. Bruno said it was like "Dynasty: The Musical". Len said he was a little disappointed. There wasn't enough contact. Then he said something I didn't get. Something about "flatulence". Carrie Ann & Bruno gave 8s & Len gave a 7 = 23. Lisa was nervous about doing the Waltz cuz it was her first dance & she didn't do well & got a low score. She got emotional while rehearsing & cried. Louis got them etiquette lessons to prepare. I liked their dance & at the end they ran up the stairs. Tom pointed out that Lisa was nominated for a Daytime Emmy yesterday for her talk show. Len liked their dance too & said they did exactly what it required. Carrie Ann said Lisa shouldn't worry about ballroom dancing cuz she can do it. Bruno said the emancipation of Lisa is complete. All 3 judges gave 9s = 27. Stacy was excited to do the Jive cuz it is fast, fun & would show more of her personality.

Tony takes her to visit the troops at Camp Pendleton to show them their dance to try it out. Then she danced w/ one of the Marines. Tony had to do push ups. At the end of their dance Stacy sat on the judges' table. Bruno said they did all the requirements & was very sexy. Len was worried about her long legs for this dance but they were absolutely spot on again. Carrie Ann said they were pretty much perfect. They got all 10s again = 30. Drew joked that they just couldn't let him have it. All the couples trained for the group Viennese Waltz except Jerry & Anna cuz they were at the Super Bowl. Louis & Tony danced together to demonstrate. The dance is just twirling in a circle while walking in a big circle. George goofed around as usual w/ Drew as his target. He would bump into him. & then George dropped his pants as he danced. Anything for a laugh. Each couple would get a little solo that they could freestyle. I liked that Drew picked Cheryl up but I thought the best was Lisa & Louis. It just looked really pretty. Len said Drew & Cheryl were spot on. Carrie Ann loved Lisa & Louis. Bruno said Stacy has the most beautiful line in her arms that only a ballerina has. Maybe cuz she was one as a kid. Tomorrow night Bill Medley will perform while they re-enact the final dance from 'Dirty Dancing.'

2/10: The judges gave Lisa & Louis the encore cuz they said they surprised them the most. When asked if George was up for learning 4 new dances in 4 days he said that he doesn't know if he has it in him & they may have to take him back to the home. Jerry said he & Anna are the Underdogs & somehow they will get to the top. Natasha Bedingfield performed her son 'Unwritten'. Stacy said she was happy for Drew when he got the 10s. She said they are all working so hard. Drew said he is jealous that he didn't use the judges as props. George hogged the spotlight again & while these 2 were being interviewed he popped up behind them to give Stacy an engagement ring. Lisa said she had no idea how hard this was going to be on her body. Jerry said it is more difficult than football. Drew said each day gets harder to get out of bed cuz of the pain. George said each dance brings a new pain. Jerry said if it feels good you're not doing it right. They all have blisters. Lisa said the bonus is she is in better shape than she has ever been. She hasn't had a body like this since she was 18. George said his suits from the first week are tight cuz his chest is developing. Drew said he has lost weight in his face.

JERRY & DREW were the 1st 2 safe. Bruno said Stacy impressed him the most cuz he was worried about her doing the jive & that her greatest assets, her legs, would work against her. Len congratulated all the Pros & said Lisa flew across the floor like a butterfly w/ sore feet & ran up the stairs like George dropped his pants again. Carrie Ann thought Jerry & Anna had a wonderful performance. Then Maksim's students took the floor to Jive. Stacy is always concerned she could go home cuz even thought she got a perfect score, it is only half. The magic of the show is the fans participate & she hopes they want her to continue. Lisa hopes the fans called for her. Samantha asked if they have a 30 dance in them & Lisa said she hopes so. George said he has 1 ten - Stacy - & four 5s. Stacy is wearing his ring.

Then Bill Medly performed his hit 'I Had the Time of My Life' w/ his daughter McKenna while Tony & Cheryl recreated the final dance from 'Dirty Dancing'. The next segment was on the pros & how hard it is to teach the stars. I thought it was funny that it was Ashly that said she was also a babysitter. Some of the pros even talk to their star during their performance to tell them what step to do & so on. The pros all said that this show was very rewarding to see the star develop as a dancer. Stacy was safe so now we are just doing to George & Lisa. Lisa looked petrified. But it was GEORGE who was cut. & I totally agree. It is obvious that he was the worst one out of the bunch. I thought he could be obnoxious at times but he also made me laugh. The crowd applauded George. He went to the judges & shook their hands. George said they saved him from a near-death experience & thinks next week will put the kibosh on Jerry's knees. Tom said he knows they will see great dancing but they won't laugh as much w/ George gone. George said he has never worked w/ people so talented & courageous & never felt competitive w/ them. He adores Edyta & she pushed him through. Samantha interrupted him to talk to Edyta. Edyta said she doesn't know anyone that compares about the competition more than George. Tom asked George since his affection for Edyta is obvious, why did he keep hitting on Stacy? George said he doesn't want to do this to Drew but he wants his fanbase of his 6 loved ones to vote for his future wife Stacy.

2/16: They had to do 2 dances this week. The 1st round was Ballroom & the 2nd was Latin. Tony brought in actress & comedian Lisa Walter to coach Stacy in acting for the 2 dances. They did the Quik Step 1st. Len liked it. Carrie Ann likes to watch Stacy's feet but would like to see her take more risks. The guys didn't like this & started yelling over her. Tom joked that Carrie Ann is the only person in America to look at Stacy's feet. Of course Bruno loved her too. I bet she could stumble & fall & he would say she did it beautifully & reward her w/ a 10. The judges gave her all 9s = 27. Stacy said it has been stressful trying to learn 2 dances in just 4 days. They did the Cha Cha for their 2nd dance. No shock, Bruno said it was a visual feast. Len said her arms were stiff but it was still great. Carrie Ann didn't understand the angry face Stacy had during the dance for her character. She was bitched at once again by the guys. I am so over the Stacy love. I still think she is a nice person & all but I don't think it is fair that she has so much experience & I don't think her dancing warrants the high marks she gets. I find her dances boring. They got 9-9-10=28. Their total is 55.

Anna said they can never please the judges so they just try to please the crowd. She pushes Jerry harder & get her husband Jonathon Roberts & her Mom, a former Ballroom Dancer, to help. They do the Tango & I thought it was really good. They used props like she was trying to drink & he pulled her away while holding a broom. While Jerry isn't as good as the other dancers, he is more fun to watch IMO. & this is what the show should be about. Someone w/ NO experience working his ass off & improving. Tom joked that it was the "12-step Tango". Bruno said he respects Jerry's effort but then proceeded to rip him apart. Len did the same & said he didn't see the proper Tango. I loved that Anna didn't take their shit & bitched back at them saying they used the props like George did that they loved & it wasn't a proper tango cuz they were entertaining. Carrie Ann said she knows dancing doesn't come as easily to him as it does to the others but he took a risk. They got 7-7-6=20. They did the Rumba & Jerry said it was "for the ladies". Carrie Ann said Anna did a great job but they were a little off the music at times but it was a nice attempt. Bruno said they work hard. Len said he admires Jerry so much but he is the worst one & this is the semi-finals. What a prick. I just don't get it. I still say Jerry is what this competition should be. Yeah he isn't as good as the girl that had dance classes her whole life. But to go from nothing to where he is now is a great feat. Jerry said no matter what happens he feels he has won already. He will not give up. The judges gave all 7s = 21. Their total is 41.

Lisa took Louis back to her hometown in Oregon to visit her parents & go to Ginger Rogers Theater. She lived there for many years. They did the Fox Trot & Carrie Ann said it was really good & graceful. She said they put themselves out there but she did see Lisa stumble a little in her footwork. Bruno said it was a "foxy" Fox Trot & thought it was a good job. Len said it was a treat to see & was great. Lisa said she always feels vulnerable but is a fighter. They got 8-9-9=26. Then they did the Cha Cha. Len thought it was clever choreography & they have wonderful chemistry. Carrie Ann said they amaze her & nail their routines. She is proud. Bruno said they work well together. Lisa said she wants it so much & is doing it to show women over 40 w/ kids that they can do anything. I think of Lisa like Jerry. As far as I know she doesn't have prior training. At least not to the extent of Stacy's. Love her or hate her, Lisa has gotten pretty good & I think her dances are way more interesting to watch than Stacy's. They got all 9s=27 & their combined total is 53.

Drew & Cheryl went to Disneyland & performed for a huge crowd. They did the Fox Trot first. Len said he never ceases to amaze him. He thought they interpreted the music well. Carrie Ann said they have a great partnership & she loved it. Bruno was slightly disappointed that Drew seemed to be slipping in some Paso Doble. Drew said he is scared for Bruno cuz his wife Lea is sitting across from him. He is happy that they didn't say anything about his shoulders this time. They got 9-9-8=26. They did the Rumba next & Drew doesn't like this one cuz he doesn't like having to move his hips. Bruno thought it was powerful & passionate & this is the Drew they all like & love to see. Len thought he was too hard & aggressive. Carrie Ann disagreed & said it was so sexy & passionate. I thought it was a great performance & deserved all 10s. Instead only Carrie Ann & Bruno gave a 10 while Len gave a 9 = 29. So this ties them w/ Stacy & Tony w/ 55. Drew is my favorite but I can't be a hypocrite. He has prior experience too. Yeah his boyband stuff isn't in the same league & 98 Degrees didn't dance as much as the other groups but still. He has prior experience so I feel he shouldn't have been there either. BUT I am still hoping he wins so I guess I am a hypocrite. I just like his dances the most.

2/17: Drew & Cheryl's Rumba got the encore. Michael Buble sang 2 songs while people danced. I fast-forwarded through that. Then the judges talked about how the finalists are all so different & said good & bad things about them. Well some of them did. Only Carrie Ann said anything negative about Stacy. When asked who impressed them most, Carrie Ann said Drew & Cheryl & liked how Drew did 2 different characters last night. Len admires Jerry's football career & how he comes back for more. Surprisingly Bruno talked about Lisa & not his precious Stacy. He said she was the most improved. Tom danced the Quik Step w/ Ashly. He said he respects the stars for what they have gone through & now has his own aches & pains. He was funny during the dance & acted like Charlie Chaplin. Len said Tom got half the dance down & the other half could have been on 'America's Funniest Home Videos. Samantha will be dancing on the finale on Sunday, February 26.

The next segment was the stars' loved ones talking about them. Stacy had her parents & Hulk Hogan. Lisa had her husband, Harry Hamlin. Jerry Rice had his wife, Steve Young & Ronnie Lott. Nick had his wife & brother Nick. Who I just read today is suing Jessica for support. I say go for it. She cheated so there you go. Enough w/ the gossip. Nick actually teared me up when he talked about how proud he was of his brother. & I laughed when he said he didn't start teasing him till he saw the 2-inch heel dancing shoes. I also thought it was cute how Jerry & his wife now dance together in their kitchen. DREW & JERRY were safe. Jerry was so happy & you could see the terror on Lisa's face. I know there was a SLIGHT chance that Stacy could go since there are many people who don't think it is fair she is there & think her dancing is boring. But it was LISA who was out. She was visibly upset & so was Harry. Louis was also crying. Lisa said Louis is one of her soulmates.

2/23: UGH! This episode was originally scheduled to be 90 minutes when I set up my DVR. Then when I found out it was 120 minutes I double checked it & it said it was recording the full 2 hours. So I went about my business & watched Survivor & then my taped AI & then got to this. Fast forward through the 1st hour of just recrap, watch a half hour of them doing their favorite dance of the season & then my recording stopped & I missed the freestyle! Well here's what I got anyway. Jerry was up 1st w/ his Fox Trot. I thought it was really good & I really like his enthusiasm. Len said that was so elegant & it is the best he's done. Carrie Ann said it is a great start & she finally saw the joy of dancing. Bruno said he is indestructible & his commitment is unrivaled. Carrie Ann & Len gave 9s & Bruno gave an 8 = 26. That is the best score Jerry has gotten. Anna said the judges finally said something nice. I love this girl's fire. Jerry felt really good. As I said, I didn't get to see their last dance but they got a 27 I think. Stacy did her Jive again. She wants to take more risks so they are going to do a lift in the freestyle. Tony wanted her to get comfortable w/ it so he took her out to practice on a trampoline & then the trapeze. Bruno said she is definitely the ultimate all-American pin-up girl. Len said she has so much pressure cuz she raised the standard for herself & it was brilliant. Carrie Ann was happy she chose the Jive cuz it was her favorite dance of hers. They got all 10s again. Stacy said they didn't take the routine for granted & did fine-tune it. I have read that the 2nd dance was a huge letdown & they got a 26. I saw her on 'Ellen' today & she & Tony were supposed to dance but didn't cuz Stacy had hurt her ankle & was letting it rest. I don't know if that had anything to do w/ this dance being bad or not.

Drew & Cheryl went to Saddle Ranch, they thought to ride the mechanical bull to prepare for the Paso Doble. But it was really a surprise party thrown by his family & friends to congratulate them for getting into the finals. Drew taunts me by saying their freestyle will be the most entertaining ever. I loved their Paso Doble & love that they add the Thriller dance moves in it. If possible, I thought this was even better than the 1st time they did it. Carrie Ann said they dominated the dance floor. Bruno said he has become a truly believable leading man & has achieved greatness. Len said he is enjoying the finals so much & thinks they have the best girl in all his 5 season & knows Drew is the best guy. The judges gave all 10s. Drew was so happy he Tom Cruise'd the couch. I heard their freestyle was awesome. It had a country feel & Drew did something "Brokeback" w/ his hat.

2/26: The show was torture for me cuz I watched it live. Wow did they have a lot of padding that I wish I could have fast forwarded through. Each of the remaining couples had to dance for the judges one more time & only the judges would score them. They got to do any dance they wanted but had to do a new routine. Jerry & Anna were 1st. They did the Cha Cha. I thought they did a really good job. Len said he may have been critical of Jerry in the past but he can now say in 2006 he mastered ballroom dancing. His admiration of Jerry never waned. Carrie Ann said he has come so far. Bruno called them "Lady & the Champ". They all gave 9s = 27. That brings their total from Thursday & tonight to 80. Stacy & Tony did the Samba. It was just ok for me. There's just something missing. Of course Bruno fell all over himself complimenting her. He used his "Weapon of Mass Seduction" line again. He said in 5 series he has never seen a more naturally gifted dancer. Len doesn't think in 50 series he will see a celebrity samba like that. Carrie Ann said their standard excellence made the competition. It was no surprise the judges gave them all 10s as usual. So their total for the week is 86.

Drew took Cheryl to the Mexican Restaurant they went to when they first met. She gave him a onesie that said "Drew Crew". They danced the Jive & at the end Drew jumped over her while she was standing. I thought something was missing in the routine. I can't tell what it was, it was just kind of off. The music sucked though & messed up at one point so I don't know if that threw them or what. But overall the routine was still pretty good. Carrie Ann said they are the most exciting. They take risks & go beyond what you'd expect. Bruno said Drew has so much energy & power. He said that was well done. Len said it has been a joy watching him dance w/ enthusiasm. It was no surprise to me that the judges scored Drew lower than their favorite, Stacy. They gave all 9's, the same they gave Jerry. Give me a break. Now I like Jerry but come on. He isn't in the same league as Drew & their scores should never be the same. So the judges try to give Stacy the advantage but Drew still leads by 1, with a total of 87 for the 2 days.

Time for some filler. Mary J. Blige sang while some pro's danced. Boring. Then finally we find out who is out. I said to my husband right before that that it would be awesome if Stacy was out after what the judges just did. & it came true! Stacy & Tony were out! I guess there are just a lot of viewers like myself that weren't as impressed w/ Stacy as the judges. The girl can dance, don't get me wrong, but there is just no oomph there. Drew really is fun to watch. So is Jerry for that matter. I don't think she was the best dancer, she just had the most experience so had an easier time. Back to the filler, I mean show. Kelly Monaco & her partner Alec were in the audience. I thought they should have danced. I mean come on, they filled it w/ TWO Mary J. Blige performances instead? Dumb move. Then the 1st four couples eliminated did a short dance & then after a break the next 3 couples out got a little longer time to dance. Kenny was so funny acting like he didn't know he was no longer in the running to win & said he thought they had a chance now since the team w/ the perfect 30 was voted out. Finally we get to the end of the show & to my delight, Drew & Cheryl win. Jerry jokingly tried to snag the trophy & run cuz he had said earlier he would do so cuz no one can catch him. I am guessing since the right person won there will not be a dance-off. But you never know.
