Simon said his problem is that it isn't just about the voice. He thinks Taylor is better suited to sing backgrounds. Simon said no & that Randy & Paula would not put Taylor in the final group in Hollywood. Randy said we'll see as he & Paula passed him through this round. 2/1: Austin was almost as bad as Vegas. Only 12 people made it through. Jason Horn was first. He is a funeral director. He sang 'You Raised Me Up'. Randy said he was really good. All 3 put him through. Ricky Hayes is a music major & sang 'I Can't Make You Love Me'. I say this every season, this song is one I don't take lightly. It is such a beautiful song & if you can't do it justice, don't touch it. I loved his performance. So did the judges. Simon said he has the nicest sounding voice & there is something distinct about it. All 3 said Yes to Hollywood. Ashly Jackson is a fit model & sang 'Something to Talk About'. It was ok but there was something about it I didn't like. & I didn't like her either. She also sang a song w/ her mouth closed. Simon said he likes her but not her singing. He & Randy said yes. Ronnie "R.J" Norman is cocky & spent his time waiting to audition by flirting. He also tells us how it is "easy" to pick up 30-year-old women by giving them compliments while they are drinking. I want to smack this kid. He sang 'Ain't No Sunshine' & to my surprise he was pretty good. But I can't stand his attitude. Simon thought it was good. Randy didn't & said it was average. It didn't matter though as Randy & Paula sent him through. William Makar sang 'Ain't Too Proud To Beg'. Paula said he has a sweet voice but doesn't think he's ready. Simon liked his voice & he & Randy said yes. 2/7: The last stop is Boston. Only 28 made it through this round. The first one was Ayla Brown. Her Dad is a state senator & her Mom is a local celebrity. She sang 'Ain't No Mountain high Enough'. I thought she was really good. Randy said it was good but he wasn't blown away. Paula didn't like that her voice was all power & would have loved to hear coloring. Simon said it was robotic & there was just something empty about it. Randy said Yes, Simon said no. Paula paused. She is worried about Ayla going for a basketball scholarship & that she would quit AI if she got it. Ayla said she isn't thinking about that now. She loves singing & basketball. Paula caved & said yes. Rebecca O'Donohue came w/ her twin sister. Her sister couldn't audition cuz she had surgery on a vocal chord. But she was there for moral support & coaching. Rebecca sang 'Black Velvet'. I thought it was just ok. Paula said her voice wasn't as beautiful as the thought it would be. Randy said he will give her a shot. Simon thought she looked really commercial but said no cuz of her voice. Paula again relented & let her through. Tatiana Ward sang 'My Cherie Amour'. She kissed up to the judges a lot. She told Randy she liked his sweater & that he looked like her Dad, who she said was sexy. Simon said she reminded him of a pet poodle he used to have cuz she had curly hair. Paula said that wasn't the best song choice. Randy said yes. Simon said no cuz it was too old fashioned. Paula said yes. The last one through was Kevin Covais. He sang 'You Raise Me Up'. Simon said anyone over 80 would love him but doesn't think anyone under 20 could relate to him. Randy liked him & said yes. Paula said he is an underdog & people like that. When asked why he was an underdog, Paula said cuz he doesn't look like an idol. She said yes. 2/8: The Hollywood Round begins w/ half of the 175 going sight seeing while the other half face the judges. They get to pick their song from a list of 12 & choose their key when they work w/ the coaches. First up is Kellie Pickler. She is one of the girls w/ the hard luck story of her Dad in prison & her Mom abandoning her. She has never had voice lessons before. She sang 'Hopelessly Devoted' & it was good but not great. Simon said her timing was all over the place & he blames her nerves. She made it anyway cuz they said they aren't just judging on this performance but also the last time they saw them. Patrick Hall was next. I don't remember seeing him before. I also don't remember what song he did. I don't think I know it. Randy said he has to work on his look cuz he doesn't look like a star. Patrick was in. The 2 flirts were up next. Ronnie "R.J." Norman & Steven David Jr. They both did the same song. Simon told Steven it wasn't one of his best. They were both cut. RJ lost his cockiness & actually cried. Lisa Tucker sang 'Hopelessly Devoted'. Parris Bennett sang 'Can't Fight the Moonlight'. I love that song. I think Leann Rhimes did such a good job w/ the songs for 'Coyote Ugly'. Both girls were in. No shock there. They are both so good. Taylor Hicks sang 'First Cup is the Deepest'. Paula said she is a fan of his. Uh oh. RUN TAYLOR! Simon said he is interesting but if he just saw him up there he would think he was someone's Father [cuz of his gray hair]. Taylor made it through. 41 people made it the 1st day. Megan Zieger was a total whiner. She was whining the 1st day on the trip that she was sick. Then before she performed she whined & cried some more & bragged about being better than everyone else. She sang 'I Believe in You & Me'. She sucked hard. But the judges kept her based on her prior performance. & now I have someone to root against. The Identity Theft twins, Terrell & Derrell Brittenum were up. We know they have been removed from the competition so this doesn't matter. Derrell sang 'I Know I'll Never Love This Way Again'. Simon said he is not looking at the winner. When it was Terrell's turn he defended his brother before singing 'First Cut is the Deepest'. Paula said she likes him better than his brother cuz he showed a different range of colors in her voice but was a little over the top. I thought he sounded like he had a frog in his throat. Both guys made it through… for now. We saw clips of them the rest of the show whining how they are better than everyone & that they are letting people through that don't deserve it. The other twins, Joshua & Jarett Simons weren't as lucky. Joshua sang 'Broken Road' & Paula said it was great. Jarett sang 'I Believe in You & Me' & Simon thought the song was too big for him. They were both cut. Or maybe they will come back after the whiner twins are cut. The cowboy Garett Johnson sang 'Can't Fight the Moonlight'. It was horrible. He threw his hat into the audience when he was done & the crowd seemed to be rooting for him. The judges kept him even though he was bad this time. Chris Daughtry sang 'First Cut is the Deepest' & was in. Mandisa Hundly was also in. Katharine McPhee sang 'I'll Never Love This Way Again'. Paula said she can sing her butt off. She was in. 66 people were cut. 2/14: 99 people remain. It is 11pm & they are all tired. But they had to pick a song, the key & a group to sing it in. Twin Terrell is pissed that one guy from his group [Sway] wants to go to bed instead of practicing. People get up at 7am & Terrell only got 2 hours of sleep. He argues w/ his brother Derrell about his group. 1 girl [Brenna] complains that her group didn't call her to practice. Then she sees them practicing across the room & goes to bitch at them. After they perform for the judges Brenna says she is the "Simon" of the group. They all made it through. Paris Bennett's group goes 1st. Simon didn't like it overall but all of them were in, including Stephanie Scott, who Simon told was lucky to make it cuz he said no but the other judges said yes. Terrell's group is up. They do that "Shoop Shoop" song. They all mess up the words & it was just terrible. Terrell tattles on his group complaining about not wanting to practice all night so he & another guy did it by themselves. That doesn't wash for me cuz then he & that guy should have been tight & known the words & they were just as bad as the guy that got a good night sleep. Well it didn't matter that they all sucked, only 1 guy in the group was cut. Once that guy was out of earshot, Terrell trashes him. He had previously talked well of the guy. But now that he was cut, Terrell blamed him for everything & said the guy was tone deaf. Derrell's group did 'Sugar Pie, Honeybunch' & were all in. But that wasn't good enough for Mr. Drama Queen. He asked to speak. He said he was very disappointed but thanks them for the opportunity. No one knew what the f*ck he was talking about since he was in. He said his spirit has been broken & he & his brother are going home to finish their album. Simon said fine & moved on. Derrell THOUGHT his brother had been cut. That was why he acted the way he did. Terrell told him he overreacted & that he needed to apologize & get them back in. Ryan brings the boys on the stage where Derrell begs for forgiveness. Simon said he is sick of his hissy attitude & asked the audience if they want the brothers back. Only a small group applauded. Simon said he & the judges will decide in 30 minutes. I was disgusted when eventually both jerks were in. But we all know it isn't for long either way since they have been removed due to their arrests. A group of guys reminiscent of the Rat Pack all made it through. So did Mandisa. Then we have Tyra Schwartz. She got pissed at the group she was in so she left to join another. Then she just bitches the entire time at the new group & tries to control it. 30 minutes before they had to perform, she quits again & goes back to the 1st group & asks to come back. One girl reads her the riot act but lets her back in. The 2nd group she was w/ did horribly. They didn't know the words & even had the lyrics written on their arms & hands. A lot of people did that actually. They were all out. One of which was Leah who was comforted by her sister Brooke. Tyra goes up w/ her original group & they do the Shoop song. I thought Juliet was horrible & she tried to sound like Cher. It was cringe-worthy. But her whole group made it through. The group Garret Johnson was in went w/ the whole cowboy thing & all wore hats. AI decided to jump on the 'Brokeback Mountain' train & had a movie trailer for "Brokenote Mountain" where "love is tone deaf". They did that "Doo Wah Diddy" song & it was really bad. Simon wasn't impressed w/ their hats & said he thinks they will look back & wonder why they blew the audition by being bad comedians. They were all out. 1 guy cries & said they were all inspired by Garret. They hug & one guy says you can't keep a good cowboy down. Garret knows he isn't ready & is too green & will give it a few years. That was the end of the group sing. Now they had 95 songs to choose from & had to sing acappella on Day 4. We didn't get to see those. The judges then deliberate & the kids are divided into 4 rooms to get the in or out. Simon said they should label the rooms "yes, no, maybe & weird". Tyra's group was out. Derrell & Paris' room was in. Taylor Hicks was also in. There was just 1 room left & they have heard 2 rooms cheer already so think they are doomed. But you knew they had to be in too cuz Kellie Pickler was in it. But so was Terrell. No matter, they were both in. 44 made it through. Derrell waited to see if his brother made it when he saw him they hugged & cried. 2/15: The 44 remaining have to take the elevator to meet w/ the judges to find out their fate. 20 of them will be cut. Crystal Stark went in first but didn't make it. When Katharine McPhee found out she was upset Crystal didn't make it cuz she thought she was really good. She was really nervous waiting her turn & cracked her knuckles. She was IN & was so excited. She got up & kissed Paula right on the lips. Simon & Randy both got a kiss as well. I thought this girl was just so adorable. I am looking forward to seeing more of her. "Ace" Young had trouble picking his final song the other day. He sang 'She's Out of My Life'. He was IN. Robert Bennett Jr was also IN. He was so excited in the elevator on the way down. He told Ryan that this wasn't meant for fat people cuz he couldn't breathe. Mandisa Hundley walked in & told Simon that they didn't need a bigger stage but they could have gotten a bigger chair. She told Simon he hurt her & she cried about it. But she has forgiven him & he doesn't need to apologize for her to forgive him. I have read in the press that Simon said that the comments he made wasn't supposed to air. He didn't know the cameras were left running & thought he was talking to his friends. I know a lot of people will be down on him for that & say it still isn't right. Sorry but I can admit that I do make comments like that too. Many people do. I don't know if what the press is reporting is what Simon really said but I don't care. I totally understand the point. I am not saying she shouldn't be bothered by the comment, I'm just not going to condemn Simon for saying something many of us say to our spouse or friend, or at least think it. Anyway, Mandisa was IN. Melissa McGhee was also IN. So was David Radford, one of the crooners. Jose "Sway" Penala got the best Bday gift & was also IN. A guy named Elliott Yamin was in too. Simon was concerned for Lisa Tucker since she was 16 that she wouldn't be able to cope w/ the stress of the competition. Her Mom was downstairs waiting w/ Ryan. Mom was shocked that a lot of good people had been cut & it made her nervous for her daughter. She needn't fear cuz Lisa was IN. Brenna Gethers is the bitchy girl who blamed her group for not calling her to rehearse. She walked in & immediately took a shot at Simon saying that comedy wasn't for him. He countered w/ & singing isn't for her. Simon said he does think she is talented but is afraid she would be a nightmare & difficult. & I am sure that is what made them keep her as she was IN. When she was walking out Simon said he likes her. Well that makes one of us. She said let's make good TV. Hmmm. Will she be VoteForTheWorst's candidate this year? Marcy Smith from Brenna's group did not make it. I didn't get the next guy's last name. I was too busy making sure I spelled Gedeon right. Gedeon (McKinney) has confidence in himself & told the judges he has IT. He was IN. When the guy left Simon said if he heard that speech before he would have said No to him. Stephanie "Stevie" Scott loves opera & is classically trained. She was IN as was Ayla Brown, the girl who plays basketball. Simon said what he likes about this show is that they give the underdogs a shot. Poor Chris Daughtry got stuck in the elevator for 6 minutes before he got to meet the judges & find out he was IN. He called his wife to let her know. He is a guy I am rooting for. He seems like a really good guy. Paris Bennett & Rebecca O'Donahue were both keeping lists of who was making it & how many slots were left. Rebecca was told it was a split decision but she was IN. So was Heather Cox & cowboy William "Bucky" Covington. Patrick Hall said he isn't as pretty as Ace but that didn't matter. He was IN. Simon said they had a difficult decision w/ Kevin Covais cuz he would never say he was the best singer in the competition. His parents wait w/ Ryan Seacrest & cross their fingers. Kevin comes down & tells them he was IN. Paris got her turn. She told the judges she thought she lost some of her charisma in Hollywood. She was IN & couldn't wait to go tell her Mom. Finally! We are told about the Brittenum twins trouble w/ the law. 1st we saw more of their cockiness as they tell the camera that their behavior has been exemplary & are angles. Yeah ok. Stealing someone's identity to buy a car is saintly. No surprise that Kellie Pickler was also IN. She is one of my early favorites. She cried & told the judges after the first audition she cried & had mascara streaks down her face. So this time she bought waterproof & asked if it worked. It did. She went down & told Ryan she is going home… when America votes her out. Ryan loved that. Taylor Hicks was told by Simon at the 1st audition that the other judges would not put him through to the Top 24. He walked into the room playing the harmonica. He was IN & played his harmonica & sang some more. There was just 2 guys & 2 girls left & only 1 slot for each side. Kinnik Sky went in w/ a girl named Megan. I didn't get her last name. Kinnik was IN. Sid Harcourt went in w/ William Makar. Will was IN. 2/21: The girls were first. Mandisa kicked it off w/ 'Never'. When I watch the performances take notes I put an arrow next to their name, up, down or sideways, for my opinion. Since this is the 1st week I was a little more generous & marked most of them as sideways since they didn't impress me. There was only 1 arrow down & 3 up. Mandisa was sideways. I wanted her to kill this song & while I did like it, it didn't blow me away. Randy said she is hot & thought it was a good song choice. He said she has personality but there were some sharp moments. I try to take notes for what Paula says but she is so drugged up & incoherent that it is hard to follow at times & no one really cares what she says anyway. She thought it was phenomenal. Simon said it wasn't the perfect vocal but she has an unbelievable personality & thinks she will make it to the finals. Kellie sang 'How Far'. She was one of my early favorites but this performance did absolutely nothing for me. Randy thought it was good, but not her best. He could hear her nerves in the high notes. Paula said she doesn't have a diva attitude. Simon said it started better than how it ended. It felt heartfelt & sincere. He said she is a nice girl & did very well. Becky sang 'Because the Night'. Her voice is kind of odd to me. Gorgeous girl though. Now I sound like Paula. Can't say a positive about the voice so will talk about the looks. She made really weird faces while she sang & that put me off. Randy said some notes were bad but he likes that she gets into it. The vocal was better than he thought it would be. Paula said some notes were off. Simon said it was slightly better than he expected. Visually she's a 10 but the voice he gives a 6.5. Ayla sang 'Reflection'. I think this is a pretty song but enough already. Everyone wants to do this song. I can't stand Christina Aguilera but there is no denying the girl can sing. Unless you can at least do it as good, don't touch this song. Ayla was just OK to me. Randy didn't expect it to be that good but he did hear a little crack. Paula agreed & said it was an ambitious choice & she "made it her own". We should have a drinking game of all Paula's clichés. Simon said she is a hard worker but there is a limit to where her voice can go. He did see some emotion this time while in the past he thought she was robotic. Paris did 'Midnight Train to Georgia'. She was my 1st arrow up of the night. My husband thought her act was over-the-top & cheesy. I don't know. I just liked how she got into it. Maybe that will get on my nerves along the way, I don't know. But for now, compared to what we have seen so far tonight, she was the best. Randy said she is a hot one that surprised him that she blew him away. Paula said "you are my idol". DRINK! Simon agreed & said she showed the older girls what you have to do well. She didn't play it safe & has a likeability & he thought it was great. Stevie sang 'To Where You Are'. I thought it was blah. The girl has talent, I just didn't care. Randy said she is really different but he was daydreaming during the song cuz she doesn't capture your attention. Paula disagreed & thought she was "brave". DRINK! Simon disagreed w/ Idiot & said Stevie utterly messed that up & it was like going to a horrible Sunday lunch & a child is singing out of tune. Brenna sang 'You Are the Sunshine of My Life'. I gave her a sideways arrow to be fair cuz her voice wasn't horrible but her personality is & I can't stand her. I am hoping she is cut this week. I couldn't stand her overacting up in the balcony while the others were singing trying to hog the camera. Randy said that was a safe song & the note at the end saved it. Paula said she needs to show humility. Simon said she doesn't need to eat humble pie but that was horrible cuz everything they like about her evaporated. Brenna claims if she is back next week her claws will be back. Oh puh-lease. Heather sang 'When You Tell Me That You Love Me'. The only arrow down for me. I was so flexible w/ everyone cuz this is the 1st week but this was just plain bad. Randy thought she would slay them but the key was too low & it didn't work for him. Paula agreed & said it started rough. Simon said she was forgettable & horrible & her personality evaporated. Pretty much the same thing he said about Brenna. Heather is my other pick to go this week. Melissa sang 'When The Lights Go Down'. Didn't do anything for me. Randy said it started rocky, there was pitch problems, but she worked it out. Paula disagreed & said this was a shining moment for her. She has a sexy & sultry voice & is a standout. Simon said it got bad in the middle & she has been overshadowed by girls that sang better. He said she is lifeless when she sings. Lisa sang 'I am Changing'. 2nd arrow up for me. I thought it was great & the girl is just adorable. Randy said that was the most ambitious song that started rough but she worked it out & he was very impressed. Don't know or care what Paula said. Simon said she made girls 5 or 6 years older sound bad & we will remember her. Kinnik sang 'Get Here'. I loved Justin Guarini's version of this & thought Kinnik was boring. Randy said she brought it home at the end but only gives it a 6 cuz "Dawg didn't get it". Paula disagreed & said she looked stunning & had some sharp notes but so what, she did a lovely job. Simon said the problem is they have seen 1 or 2 stunning young girls & she was very cabaret that no one would think "wow". She was overshadowed by the younger girls. Katharine closed the show w/ 'Since I Fell for You'. She was the best of the night. I loved it & I love her. I have rooted for her from early on & I am glad she didn't blow it tonight. Randy said she is another hot one & a natural talent. He thought it was great, amazing. Paula said she loves her job cuz that was a great performance. She thought everything was fantastic & thinks she will go all the way. Simon said there has been 4 very good vocalists tonight & she was the best. So for me Katharine was the best of the night followed by Paris. Heather was the worst & I can't stand Brenna so am hoping she goes home. 2/22: Now it's the guys' turn. They have been saying all season that a guy is going to win it this year. I do think this group of guys were way better than the girls last night & are the best guy group this show has ever had. But there were some pretty bad ones too. Patrick sang 'Come to my Window'. I love Melissa Etheridge, hated his version. He took all the oomph & balls out of the song. Randy said he could tell he was nervous & it started rough. It wasn't his best. I have no idea what Paula said. She rambled something off that made no sense as usual. Simon said it was a terrible song & he was very fidgety & looked uncomfortable. He thought it was an average performance. David sang 'A Crazy Little Thing Called Love'. I think I am the only person who actually liked this performance. I liked that he took a good song & put his own stamp on it while not losing the guts of the original. & I thought it was fun to watch too. I actually really liked it & am shocked by how hated it is. Randy said it was terrible w/ no originality & the pitch kept changing. Paula said it wasn't her favorite song choice but he was true to who he is. Simon said it came over as a joke but the audience will like him. He has to take himself seriously. Bucky sang 'Simple Man'. & I didn't like it at all. A pattern developed for me that I would like one guy & then not the next. Randy said he likes him & he did the South proud but he doesn't always have to sing that hard cuz it goes sharp. Paula said he picked a good song but some parts were off. Simon said it was better than before & it was likes his raw but there are 1000's of bars w/ someone like him singing. Will sang 'I Want You Back'. I liked it. Randy said he likes him & he tried to do his thing & he was entertained. Paula said he was adorable & reminded her of Bobby Brady. Simon said he is nice looking but vocally he was utterly average & no one would say "Wow". He was just OK. Sway sang 'Reasons'. I hated the falsetto. It was like nails on a chalkboard for me. I know the guy CAN sing, just hated this. Randy said he is a hot one w/ originality & range. Paula said he is truly amazing. Simon said he must be on a different page than the other judges cuz he thought it was pimpy & a 3rd rate copy. Chris sang 'Dead or Alive'. I think this was the best of the night. & I am thrilled cuz I so want to root for this guy. Randy said it was really good & he is very current w/ a great recording voice. Paula said she is so Wow'd by him & thinks he is going to go all the way. Simon thought it was a good song choice & he has finally heard someone w/ potential & a great recording voice. Kevin sang 'One Last Cry'. He got my only sideways arrow of the night. Everyone else I liked or didn't. His voice wasn't bad, just not for me. I agree that he is adorable & likeable though. Randy said he really likes him & he is honestly talented. Paula said he makes her beam & she is proud. Simon said he likes him but thinks he would only appeal to people over 90 that are hard of hearing. He thought it was vocally excruciating. Gedeon sang 'Shout'. Now where you want to like Kevin, you want to hate this cocky guy. But I liked his performance. He had fun w/ it too. Randy thought it was good but very unexpected. He thought it was a good song choice & he was in tune. Paula said she was thrown & it was a great surprise. Simon thought it sounded like a warm up for the Chippendale Dancers. He said Gedeon's smile bothers him. Elliot sang 'If You Really Love Me'. It was really good. I think the 2nd best of the night. Randy said they got another hot one. Singing Stevie Wonder is hard but he was brilliant. Paula said it was effortless & great. Simon said he was the best male of all 5 seasons. & see? That is why Simon is the best & Paula sucks. Her critiques mean nothing cuz she claims she loves everyone. When Simon says he likes someone, you know he is speaking the truth & that is high praise. If you watch the early auditions, you will see Paula is laughing at the stuff Simon says when she doesn't think the camera is on her. She is just totally faking it & playing a role of the supportive judge. When she's not stoned that is. On with the show. Bobby Bennett sang 'Copacabana' & it was horrible. Randy said that was a whole different era & he likes him but vocally it was here & there & just a'iight. Paula said they all enjoyed the entertainment value & that he commits 100% w/ passion. Simon said that somewhere in Veags Barry is screaming cuz that was a complete nightmare. Ace sang 'Father Figure'. The guy has looks & he can sing. Randy said he was laughing cuz he's a star & he really has it going on & can sing. He's loving him. Paula said he's a star. Simon said it wasn't the best vocals of the night, there were 2 better, but he has the "X-Factor". It was a brilliant choice of song & thinks he will sail right through the competition. It was very good. Taylor closed the night w/ 'Levon'. I liked it & am thrilled to like it. There's just something about this guy. I don't think he will win but I'll enjoy watching him while he's there. He's just so dedicated & happy that it is fun to watch. Randy said he's not sure that was the perfect song choice but he loves him. Paula said she loved him. Simon said he had said before he didn't think Taylor would make the finals but he was wrong. He said Taylor is interesting & just gets into the singing & he loved it. He has more feedback from people about Taylor than he has ever had about any finalist. 2/23: Simon said it is obvious which ones are going cuz they were terrible last night. Paula hits him. Yeah, she's a peach. The group sing was 'Take it Easy'. I always hate these cheese-fests but this one wasn't that bad. I noticed that Kevin & Bobby always had to sing together & didn't get a solo. Brenna compared being on the show to a duck that looks calm on the surface of the water while its legs are paddling furiously underneath. The girls were up first. Ayla, Katharine, Kellie, Lisa, Mandisa & Paris were in the back row & they were all safe. Then Heather, Kinnik & Melissa were safe. It was down to Brenna & Becky. Becky was out. Randy said she should keep working it & thought her song was a little big for her. Ryan claimed Paula was tearing up but she just looked stoned to me. She said Becky has a career ahead of her & the cameras love her. DRINK! Simon thinks she will be a successful model. You can check out Maxim's website & see where she posed w/ her sister. Becky thanked AI for opening doors for her before she sang her song again.
Same thing for the guys. The back row of Bucky, David, Gedeon, Patrick, Taylor & Will were safe. Then Ace & Elliot. Then Kevin & Chris. It was down to Bobby & Sway & it was Bobby out. He said he chose his song for his Grandma & thought Simon was rough but he always liked him. He said he made it to the Top 24 or AI & not many people can say that & they can't take that away from him. & he had 30 million + viewers watch him sing. Back to the girls. The back row was safe again. Then Brenna, Kinnik & Melissa. Stevie & Heather were left & Stevie was out. She said she was sick the other night. Paula & Randy both said she did the wrong song. Simon agreed. They switch up this time for the guys. The front row of Chris, Ace, Elliott, Kevin & Sway were safe. Patrick was out. Simon said he just didn't stand out in the crowd. Next week is the same. The girls will perform on Tuesday & the guys on Wednesday & the results show is on Thursday where 2 guys & 2 girls will be eliminated. Make sure to post your picks in the AI forum for which 4 will be going home.
