Reality Television - A lot of discussion lately about the demise of Reality Television but with the networks hurting these cheap to produce shows are going to keep on coming. We will preview several of the new ones on deck below:

Survivor 3 - Down to the Final Four with the last episode, a two hour edition coming on Thursday. Lex seems to be the best pick at winning immunity to get to the final two but the least likely to win points with the jury. Least likely, but who would have picked Richard or Tina to win?

Survivor 4 - The filming of this edition in the on the Island of Nuku Hiva, in the Marquesas archipelago of French Polynesia has just concluded. There seemed to be a fair amount of spoiler news released during production, but like before much of it could be false.

Combat Missions - This series pits four teams of current and former personnel from elite units of the military against one another in tests of their ability. Activities such as sniper attacks and rescue missions would be among the tests of skill. Rudy from the original Survivor series will participate. This show premieres January 16th on USA Network.

American Fighter Pilots Show - A new show coming up on CBS will follow a group of young men from different walks of life as they train to become fighter pilots. No word yet on the schedule for this show so far.

The Chair - On this game show contestants are strapped to a heart monitoring device. Rules of the game dictate that excited contestants cannot answer any new questions until their heart rate calms down to within the pre-determined range. No word yet from ABC on when this will air but it seems they are racing to beat the FOX show "The Chamber".

The Chamber - A new show on FOX, there are allegations that it is a blatant rip-off of "The Chair". According to network's reality programming chief, Mike Darnell, said this show will "take people and throw them into this chamber where they will then be put under enormous environmental, physiological and physical challenges (as they) answer questions. It could get really intense.''

Krypton Factor - According to LMNO the Krypton Factor is a quiz show that offers a wide variety of mental trials to keep both audience and contestants on the edge of their seats. Individual games will test powers of deduction and recall, attention to detail, and ability to solve all forms of problems, including 3-D geometric puzzles and mental collating. Pat O' Brien will be the host of this show.

Real World 11 in Chicago - The original modern reality show is back on MTV starting on January 15th. The show was filmed in Chicago this time and generated some controversy which is detailed in a few of the articles below.
