FOX’s week was highlighted by the stellar performances of AMERICAN IDOL, HOUSE, NANNY 911, THE SIMPLE LIFE: INTERNS, THE O.C. and critically-acclaimed drama 24. This marks the first time FOX has EVER had eight consecutive weekly wins among the key demographic Adults 18-49. AMERICAN IDOL continues to dominate the competition in all key measures, and on Tuesday outdelivered the comparable Tuesday performance episode last year (on 3/16/04), increasing in rating by +2% and by +2 shares among Adults 18-49. AMERICAN IDOL TUESDAY is also up +6% in Total Viewers. New FOX drama HOUSE dominated its time period and posted its highest ratings EVER in virtually all key measures. Following the dominant AMERICAN IDOL Wednesday, SIMPLE LIFE 3: INTERNS delivered a 5.8/14 among Adults 18-49 and won its half hour among all key measures and outdelivered its nearest competitor in the 9:30 PM time period by +41% among Adults 18-49. FOX drama 24 posted a 4.9/12 among Adults 18-49, winning the hour in the key demographic and through its first 13 hours, 24 is up an amazing +26% in Adults 18-49 and +31% in Total Viewers compared to the same telecasts last season (10/28/03-2/10/04). THE O.C. won its hour among Adults 18-34, Teens and outdelivered its prior season average by +10% among Adults 18-49 (3.4/10 vs. 3.1/8) and +9% in Total Viewers (7.6 vs. 7.0 Mil).

Season-to-date, Among Adults 18-49, FOX ranks No. 1 with a 4.1/11 and No. 1 among Adults 18-34 (3.8/12), Teens (3.1/11) and Persons 12-34 (3.6/11). FOX also ranks No. 1 for the season among Adults 18-49 average audience, delivering 5.3 Mil Adults 18-49 versus second place CBS (5.2 Mil).

Highlights

AMERICAN IDOL TUESDAY delivered an 11.5/30 among Adults 18-49 with 28.4 Mil Total Viewers, dominating its hour in all key measures and outdelivered the comparable Tuesday performance episode last year (on 3/16/04), increasing in rating by +2% and by +2 shares among Adults 18-49 (11.5/30 vs. 11.3/28). AMERICAN IDOL is also up +6% in Total Viewers (28.4 vs. 26.7 Mil).

AMERICAN IDOL WEDNESDAY delivered a 10.8/26 among Adults 18-49 with 24.7 Mil Total Viewers. Versus the comparable Wednesday results show last year (on 3/17/04), AMERICAN IDOL is up +11% among Adults 18-49 (10.8 vs. 9.7) and +8% in Total Viewers (24.7 vs. 22.9 Mil).

Continuing with its growth trend, AMERICAN IDOL WEDNESDAY is now +1% above last year's average through the same date among Adults 18-49 (11.5 vs. 11.4) and gains +3% among Total Viewers (27.2 vs. 26.3 Mil).

New FOX hit drama HOUSE posted a 6.8/17 among Adults 18-49 with 17.3 Mil Total Viewers, once again achieving its highest ratings in virtually all key measures and continues to show incredible gains compared to its prior season average, increasing +66% among Adults 18-49 (6.8/17 vs. 4.1/10), +65% among Adults 18-34 (5.6/16 vs. 3.4/9), +52% in Teens (3.5/11 vs. 2.3/7) and +68% in Total Viewers (17.3 vs. 10.3 Mil).

FOX's NANNY 911 posted a 4.1/11 among Adults 18-49 with 10.5 Mil Total Viewers, its highest Total Viewers ever and delivered FOX's highest Adults 18-49 rating and Total Viewers in the time period with regular programming in over 2 years (since Boston Public on 2/24/03).

FOX drama 24 posted a 4.9/12 among Adults 18-49, winning the hour in the key demo and through its first 13 hours, 24 is up an amazing +26% in Adults 18-49 (5.3/12 vs. 4.2/11) and +31% in Total Viewers (12.7 vs. 9.7) compared to the same telecasts last season (10/28/03-2/10/04).

FOX's THE O.C. won its hour among Adults 18-34, Teens and outdelivered its prior season average by +10% among Adults 18-49 (3.4/10 vs. 3.1/8) and +9% in Total Viewers (7.6 vs. 7.0 Mil).

SIMPLE LIFE 3: INTERNS delivered a 5.8/14 among Adults 18-49 and won its half hour among all key measures and outdelivered its nearest competitor in the 9:30 PM time period by +41% among Adults 18-49 (5.8/14 vs. CBS' Yes, Dear 4.1/10), by +100% among Adults 18-34 (6.0/17 vs. CBS' 3.0/8), and by +172% among Teens (4.9/16 vs. CBS' 1.8/6).

FOX's NANNY 911 posted a 4.1/11 among Adults 18-49 with 10.5 Mil Total Viewers, its highest Total Viewers ever. NANNY 911 ranked No. 1 in its hour among Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens, Households and Women 18-49/18-34/25-54.

Last night's NANNY 911 delivered FOX's highest Adults 18-49 rating and Total Viewers in the time period with regular programming in over 2 years (since Boston Public on 2/24/03).

NANNY 911 outdelivered FOX's prior season average in the time period (excluding sports) by +5% among Adults 18-49 (4.1/11 vs. 3.9/10), +14% among Total Viewers (10.5 Mil vs. 9.2 Mil) and +11% among Teens (3.1/10 vs. 2.8/9).

Versus its prior Wednesday 9:00 PM time period performance, last night's NANNY 911 increased by +14% among Adults 18-49 (4.1/11 vs. 3.6/9) and +28% among Total Viewers (10.5 Mil vs. 8.2 Mil).

NANNY 911 ranked among the six networks’ Top Ten primetime programs for the week among Teens (No. 10 tie) and the Top Twenty among Adults 18-34 (No. 17).

FOX drama 24 posted a 4.9/12 among Adults 18-49 and won the 9:00 PM hour among Adults 18-49, Adults 25-54 (tie), Teens, Men 18-49, Men 18-34 and Men 25-54.

Through its first 13 hours, 24 is up an amazing +26% in Adults 18-49 (5.3/12 vs. 4.2/11) and +31% in Total Viewers (12.7 vs. 9.7) compared to the same telecasts last season (10/28/03-2/10/04).

24 ranked among the six networks’ Top Ten primetime programs for the week among Adults 18-49 (No. 10) and the Top Twenty in Total Viewers (No. 17), Adults 18-34 (No. 18 tie) and Teens (No. 14 tie).

FOX won the night on a total primetime basis among Men 18-49, Men 18-34 (tie), Men 25-54, Teens and ranked No. 2 among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

In addition, versus its performance last week, AMERICAN IDOL gained +1 share among Adults 18-49 (30 vs. 29) and +3% in Total Viewers (28.4 vs. 27.7 Mil).

AMERICAN IDOL outperformed the 5-net competition in the 8:00 PM hour by +31% among Adults 18-49 (11.5 vs. 8.8), +36% among Adults 18-34 (10.1 vs. 7.4) and outperformed the 3-net competition by +30% in Total Viewers (28.4 vs. 21.9 Mil).

AMERICAN IDOL TUESDAY was the No. 1 ranked program of the week among: Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens, Adults 25-54, Men 18-49, Men 18-34, Men 25-54, Women 18-49, Women 18-34 and Women 25-54.

New FOX hit drama HOUSE posted a 6.8/17 among Adults 18-49 with 17.3 Mil Total Viewers, once again achieving its highest ratings in virtually all key measures: Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34/25-54, Households, Women 18-49/18-34/25-54 and Men 18-49/25-54.

HOUSE continues to show incredible gains compared to its prior season average, increasing +66% among Adults 18-49 (6.8/17 vs. 4.1/10), +65% among Adults 18-34 (5.6/16 vs. 3.4/9), +52% in Teens (3.5/11 vs. 2.3/7) and +68% in Total Viewers (17.3 vs. 10.3 Mil).

HOUSE won its hour in all key measures: Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, Households, Women 18-49/18-34/25-54, Men 18-49/18-34/25-54 and Teens. HOUSE was also the No. 2 program of the night in all key measures (behind only AMERICAN IDOL).

In the 9:00 PM hour, HOUSE outperformed its nearest competitor by +36% among Adults 18-49 (6.8/17 vs. 5.0/12 for CBS' Amazing Race), +37% among Adults 18-34 (5.6/16 vs. 4.1/12 for CBS), +52% in Teens (3.5/11 vs. CBS' 2.3/8) and +36% in Total Viewers (17.3 vs. CBS' 12.7 Mil).

HOUSE ranked in the week’s Top Five in Adults 18-49 (No. 4), Total Viewers (No. 4), Adults 18-34 (No. 4) and the week’s Top Ten in Teens (No. 6).

FOX dominated the night among all key measures, winning among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens, Adults 25-54, Households, Women 18-49/18-34/25-54, and Men 18-49/18-34/25-54.

AMERICAN IDOL outperformed the combined 3-net competition in the 9:00 PM half hour by +5% in Adults 18-49 (10.8 vs. 10.3), +20% in Adults 18-34 (9.5 vs. 7.9), and the combined 5-net competition by +20% among Teens (7.2 vs. 6.0).

AMERICAN IDOL WEDNESDAY ranked in the week’s Top Five primetime programs among Adults 18-49 (No. 2, behind only American Idol Tuesday), Total Viewers (No. 2), Adults 18-34 (No. 2) and Teens (No. 2).

An encore episode of THAT '70s SHOW at 8:00 PM did a 3.7/10 among Adults 18-49 and ranked No. 2 in its half hour among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 and ranked No. 1 in Men 18-34.

FOX's THAT '70s SHOW repeat at 8:00 PM outperformed its prior 04/05 season average by +12% among Adults 18-49 (3.7/10 vs. 3.3/9) and +9% in Total Viewers (7.5 vs. 6.9 Mil).

THAT ‘70s SHOW ranked in the week’s Top Twenty in Adults 18-34 (No. 20 tie) and Teens (No. 20 tie).

Another encore episode of THAT '70s SHOW followed at 8:30 PM and delivered a 4.4/11 among Adults 18-49, building on its lead-in by +19% (4.4 vs. 3.7). THAT '70s SHOW at 8:30 PM ranked No. 2 in its half hour among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens (tie) and ranked No. 1 in Men 18-34.

The 8:30 PM THAT '70s SHOW repeat outdelivered FOX's prior 04/05 season average in the time period with regular programming (excluding American Idol), increasing +63% among Adults 18-49 (4.4/11 vs. 2.7/7), +50% among Adults 18-34 (4.5/13 vs. 3.0/9) and +56% in Total Viewers (9.2 vs. 5.9 Mil).

THAT ‘70s SHOW at 8:30PM ranked in the week’s Top Ten in Adults 18-34 (No. 7 tie) and Teens (No. 8 tie) and the week’s Top Twenty in Adults 18-49 (No. 18 tie).

SIMPLE LIFE 3: INTERNS delivered a 5.8/14 among Adults 18-49 and won its half hour among all key measures: Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34/25-54, Teens, Households, Women 18-49/18-34/25-54 and Men 18-49/18-34/25-54.

SIMPLE LIFE 3 dominated the competition, outdelivering its nearest competitor in the 9:30 PM time period by +41% among Adults 18-49 (5.8/14 vs. CBS' Yes, Dear 4.1/10), by +100% among Adults 18-34 (6.0/17 vs. CBS' 3.0/8), and by +172% among Teens (4.9/16 vs. CBS' 1.8/6).

SIMPLE LIFE 3 showed impressive increases versus its prior season average, gaining +14% among Adults 18-49 (5.8/14 vs. 5.1/12), +9% among Adults 18-34 (6.0/17 vs. 5.5/15) and +13% in Total Viewers (12.6 vs. 11.2 Mil).

Compared to FOX's prior 04/05 season average in the time period with regular programming (excluding American Idol), SIMPLE LIFE increased +49% among Adults 18-49 (5.8/14 vs. 3.9/10), +50% among Adults 18-34 (6.0/17 vs. 4.0/11), +36% among Teens (4.9/16 vs. 3.6/12) and +43% in Total Viewers (12.6 vs. 8.8 Mil).

THE SIMPLE LIFE ranked in the week’s Top Ten in Adults 18-49 (No. 5), Adults 18-34 (No. 3) and Teens (No. 3 tie) and in the week’s Top Twenty in Total Viewers (No. 13).

FOX dominated the night among all key measures, winning among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens, Adults 25-54, Households, Women 18-49/18-34/25-54, and Men 18-49/18-34/25-54.

THURSDAY

THE O.C. outdelivered its prior season average by +10% among Adults 18-49 (3.4/10 vs. 3.1/8) and +9% in Total Viewers (7.6 vs. 7.0 Mil).

THE O.C. also showed significant growth in its second half hour, gaining +13% among Adults 18-49 (3.6/10 vs. 3.2/9), +19% among Adults 18-34 (4.3/13 vs. 3.6/12) and +10% in Total Viewers (7.9 vs. 7.2 Mil).

THE O.C. ranked in the week’s Top Five in Teens (No. 5) and the week’s Top Twenty in Adults 18-34 (No. 16).

POINT PLEASANT delivered its highest rating since its second telecast on 1/27/05. POINT PLEASANT ranked No. 3 in its hour among Teens.

FOX ranked No. 3 for the night on a total primetime basis among Adults 18-49 (tie) and Adults 18-34 and No. 2 in Teens.
